On our way back from yet another (and final) failed visit to Le Langhe, we noticed Blossom and Walker on Lord Mayor’s Walk in York. We spotted hanging baskets in the window and because we were after a bread basket for our dining table went inside. What a little gem of a shop. A family run business selling furniture, accessories & lighting for the home & garden since 1959 it was a treasure trove of items for the home and garden.
We were immediately welcomed by the staff and asked if we wanted any help and without fuss they showed us a couple of baskets which would suit our needs perfectly.
While Paul was settling up, my eyes quickly surveyed the other many items for sale. They had lighting, pictures, frames, knobs and knockers, signs, furniture and very importantly lots of things for cats (and dogs) for sale. It would be easy to spend quite a bit of time browsing this shop. I’m pretty sure we’ll be back to buy more items.
