Water Big Butt. No not a comment, but more a summary of our weekend where Paul and I (well I did drive him to the plumb centre to pick up some bits and pieces) installed the new water butt. A large old oak barrel has been given a second lease of life collecting water from our roof. With a bit of fiddling around with pipes, hacksaws and PFTE tape it is now all working properly allowing us to claim we’re doing a little bit more for the environment.
While Paul then went onto work in the garden (see right!) the heavens opened while he was out there and in that short time the barrel was filled to the top.
Of course, while all this was going on, I was sat inside the house, nice and warm playing around with the website and uploading our new design. Hope you like this new look and feel.
