It must have been the Support of Pryordurkin.com that caused the downfall of Rocky Andrews who was fired by Alan Sugar on last night’s episode of The Apprentice.
In what turned out to be a classic Apprentice episode; you know, the type where you have to cringe behind a cushion while watching the ‘train crash’ play out in front of you, Rocky took the fall primarily I think for being too young and too nice for the rest of this year’s intake.
Admittedly, he did seem out of his depth but when compared to the negotiating skills of Philip Taylor he was an absolute genius. Philip went into negotiation with a potential client having a starting price of £65 and it made for fantastic telly watching him flounder as the client sat quiet while Philip slowly dropped his price to £15 for exactly the same goods that were on offer at £65.
Kate Walsh was equally ‘impressive’ with her knowledge of catering and with brilliant editing by the production company, last nights episode showed her trying to describe and sell the food that would be served up during an evening reception. It was simply priceless watching the poor lass struggle to describe food that can be ‘grilled in various ways’!
What great TV….Yep. I’m hooked.
