We went along to see Morecambe at York Theatre Royal last night and although as it turned out, it was not what I expected (don’t ask), we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Written by Tim Whitnall, Directed by Guy Masterson and acted brilliantly by Bob Golding it was the story of Morecambe as in Morecambe and Wise. Bob Golding was masterful with his acting and impressions, so much so, that at the end of the performance he got a well deserved standing ovation from the people of York.
Well worth watching if you get a chance. Pryordurkin rating 5 stars.
